Dr Adanna Ejeckam, MD, CCFP, PgDip (IntMed)(Edin)
Dr. Ejeckam is a dedicated family physician with over 20 years of experience in medical practice and a strong passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care. She recognizes the profound impact that quality healthcare has on patients’ quality of life and actively encourages patients to be engaged partners in managing their health and wellbeing.
She completed her postgraduate training in Family Medicine through the University of Saskatchewan’s SIPPA program in 2013 and practiced at the Weyburn Primary Health Care Clinic in Saskatchewan prior to relocating to Calgary in 2019.
Dr. Ejeckam is a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and holds the Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
She also earned a postgraduate diploma in Internal Medicine from the University of Edinburgh. In addition, she has completed the Advancing Obesity Management Program (December 2022) and the Geriatric Certificate Program through McMaster University (January 2022), further strengthening her expertise in chronic disease and aging care.
She currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary.
Prior to relocating to Canada, Dr. Ejeckam practiced as a General Practitioner in Doha, Qatar, at the American Hospital. She provided high-quality care to patients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds and also served at the Qatar Foundation Clinic, where she held a leadership role as GP-in-Charge.
Dr. Ejeckam is a graduate of the University of Benin Medical School in Nigeria. She began her postgraduate training in General Paediatrics at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital before relocating to Qatar. She is also a Member of the West African College of Physicians.
Dr. Edwin Obarisiagbon, MD, CCFP
Dr. Edwin did his Practice Ready Assessment (PRA) in the rural community of Vanderhoof, British Columbia where he lived and worked for the past 5 years.
He had the opportunity to work in the emergency room, but spent most time in office practice, which gave him the opportunity to interact with patients and share in their care.
He is skilled in my many minor surgical procedures.
His undergraduate and medical degrees as well as his residency program were all completed in Nigeria. He practiced for several years in Nigeria before moving to Canada to continue with his medical profession.
When not in the clinic, he enjoys spending most of his time with his family and friends.
Dr. Ogechi Ernest-Amaziro. MD, MPH, PDip Dermatology, MRCGP, CCFP,
Family Physician | Menopause Society Certified Practitioner | Women's Health & Healthy Aging.
Dr. Ogechi Ernest-Amaziro is a UK-trained family physician with over a decade of clinical experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women, families, and patients across all stages of life.
As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), she has a special clinical focus on perimenopause, menopause, women’s midlife health, hormonal changes, and healthy aging. She supports women experiencing symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep difficulties, fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, anxiety, weight and metabolic changes, and other concerns associated with the menopause transition.
Her additional postgraduate training in dermatology enables her to assess and manage a wide range of medical skin conditions, including acne, eczema, rashes, pigmentation concerns, and skin changes across diverse skin tones.
Dr. Ernest-Amaziro takes a warm, thorough, and individualized approach, combining women’s health, preventive medicine, mental wellbeing, skin health, and chronic disease management to help patients make informed decisions about their health.
Having trained and practised in the UK and internationally, she brings a broad and culturally sensitive perspective to patient care. She speaks English and Igbo and is committed to serving Calgary’s diverse communities.

Dr. Ihuoma Emeronye, MD, MRCGP, CCFP
Dr Ihuoma Emeronye is a passionate health care professional who completed her General Practice training in the United Kingdom. Her areas of interest are women’s health, menopause, skin health, she is excited to have the opportunity to use these skills while providing patient focused care to Albertans.
During her downtime she enjoys hiking, listening to music and travelling. She comes with over eight years of experience in medical practice in both Nigeria and United Kingdom.
Dr. Ikponmwosa Iyawe, MD, CCFP - Family Physician
Dr. Ikponmwosa Iyawe is a board-certified Family Physician based in Alberta, with 17 years of broad clinical experience and research spanning internal medicine, nephrology, and comprehensive primary care.
He completed his undergraduate medical degree and post graduate residency training in Nigeria.
His strong foundation in hospital-based medicine, created opportunities for him to practise as an acute and general medicine physician in the United Kingdom before relocating to Canada.
Following his move to Canada, Dr. Iyawe got his provisional licence to practise through the PRA program, working as a primary care and emergency physician in rural Alberta. He became certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) in 2024.
He brings a patient-centered and integrative approach to care, with interests in chronic disease management, kidney health, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Iyawe is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families across all stages of life. He is committed to fostering strong therapeutic relationships and helping patients navigate complex health issues with clarity and confidence.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Iyawe enjoys spending time with his wife and their three lovely boys. He is proud to serve the Calgary community and contribute to its growing healthcare landscape.

Angelyn
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Angelyn made Calgary her home in 2007 and has since built a strong and rewarding career in the healthcare field.
With over 12 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant, she brings a wealth of knowledge, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for patient care. In 2021, she further advanced her expertise by earning her Medical Office Assistant and Unit Clerk Certification from ABES College, reinforcing her commitment to delivering high-quality support in a clinical setting.
Outside of work, Angelyn enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, expressing her creativity on the piano, and spending meaningful time with her family.
She is dedicated to creating a positive and welcoming experience for every patient she encounters.

I’m Loretta, a proud Calgarian, mother, and dedicated Medical Office Assistant, I’m passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
With a natural love for helping people, pursuing a career as an MOA felt like the perfect fit—and it’s a path I’ve embraced wholeheartedly ever since. I take pride in ensuring each interaction is handled with care, empathy, and professionalism.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy getting lost in a good book or expressing my creativity through sewing and baking.

All waiting areas, examination rooms, and high-touch surfaces are disinfected regularly, with examination rooms cleaned thoroughly after every patient visit.

Waiting Area Control
Waiting room capacity is limited; patients may wait in vehicles and receive notifications when their scheduled appointment time begins inside.

Physical Distancing
Physical distancing measures are maintained throughout the clinic wherever possible to reduce close contact and support safer patient interactions daily.

Personal Protective Equipment
All physicians and staff wear appropriate personal protective equipment during patient care to maintain safety, reduce transmission risk, reassure visitors.

Patients are required to wear masks and follow hand hygiene while inside the clinic to protect themselves, staff, and others.
