Many doctors we saw previously were unfamiliar with this diagnosis. However, when I first met with Dr. Edwin, his very first question was, “Does she have Type 1 or Type 2?” In that moment, I knew he was going to be a good fit for our family.
Last year, I became pregnant, and Dr. Edwin supported me immensely throughout the entire process. Although I experienced several concerning scans, he always kept me at ease and helped me feel much more comfortable during a stressful time. After I had my baby, he greeted us in the office with a big hug and warm congratulations.
